Dear Carolyn - I loved this work so much. Great Rictameter, and on a subject I adore. it reminds me of when my kids were so small.. and the rain excited them cause of the puddles and their new flashy umbrellas.

this is very well written, carolyn, i enjoyed reading this rictameter about the month of april. i loved splashing in puddles as a child and as a college student as well....my roommates and some others walked in the rain for three hours until campus security ran us back in our dorms because there was a tornado watch out and or dorm mother was looking for us.

How fun, the dorm mother was out looking for you. I too enjoy the rain, my hubby and I sit on the screen porch and listen to the rain when we have an opportunity. A nice cozy blanket around the two of us works well. :-) Carolyn

This is just wonderful...I love rainy, puddly poems and days! I grew up in Tacoma, Washington, and you never left home without your umbrella! AND...your poem has my favorite flowers in it, AND a beautiful rainy picture...it doesn't get better than this! Blessings tonight!
