Isn't that partially what writing does, allows us to escape what's around us and delve into a world of our choice. Not right or wrong, just ours?

I very much like this little piece. It says alot. I read quite a few books in my time. It is like escaping to another world. I also like the words you used on the first line, "Grasping all the words." It made the poem all the more intense to understand. It was like someone was passionately involved with a piece of literature, to escape their own turmoil. So this poem was kind of an adventure to me. Good writ, and God bless.
