have to say it, your picture caught my attention. You remind me of someone from another time and place. . .this reads really well. I may need to peruse a few other posts, or maybe start at the beginning.

you did a good job of bridging dialogue places. I like a little more description - place and time an thought, but this read really well and it did not feel like reading a teen piece

I'm enjoying this novel a great deal Barbara; chapter after chapter it keeps me reading with interest as the story-line develops with nary a dry or dull moment to be found! Your character development skills are excellent, made obvious by the way I see them in past chapters versus where they're at now. Gives the novel a type of "screen-play" quality as it goes forward.

This grabbed me right away and I will most definitely read this in book form. I write in dialog as well, and like reading it because it makes me feel that I am sharing the experience. Even though, I have not read previous chapters, I caught the drift of this. Good luck with your writing.
