Hi Barbara:)
Just when Paige is finally able to get back in her home, it appears someone, other than a ghost, still poses a danger.

As usual, excellent dialog and Chief Dennison's obvious prejudice toward Nala, couldn't be better shown. Paige seems to have two social wall standing between her and the deep South; racial prejudice and social customs. I almost forgot, add family disputes from past generations.

I will be waiting to find out who is attacking her. More love and Irish Hugs to help you hurry to the end of the mystery.

Roger

Good chapter, Barbara. I hope you had a nice Christmas and are looking forward to the new year.

"I'm full(,) really." Nala laughed.

Cash pulled in (pulled in at an) Oriental Buffet and parked. "Let's eat."

"I happen to be fond of oriental (Oriental) food.

Billy Joe's eye brows (eyebrows) clumped closer together.

Thank you for the kind review and wonderful eye. I absolutely hate commas and am no good at with them.

A great chapter with yet more mystery wondering if the police are in on this too. I can't wait for the next chapter to see what Paige was struck with. Have a happy New Year~~Debbie

Poor Paige, she can't seem to find any peace can she? Now there's someone else after her Sigh, it seems she is now under the auspices of a ghost.

Thank you for the kind review. Yes, Paige is having another rough go, but I think it will be solved very soon. At least I hope it will.

Oh my, what is happening? This does not sound good. Please don't keep me on pins and needles and post again soon, I just have to know what is going on. Absolutely great chapter. Enjoyed it very much. Love Billy Joe's toothpick addiction. Very funny.

Billy Joe is trying to quit smoking, much earlier post, he's using toothpicks for that problem. I would actually like to post in mid-week, but my third son and his fiancé are here, so I am not sure.

I know, but his obsession with toothpicks is really quite obsessive and very funny too.

This is wonderful. It really seems that they aren't getting to the bottom of what's been going on with Paige's house. As they say, it's like they're being spoon fed information. Somebody's being protected. The Oriental Buffet scene is fun. Billy Joe's reaction to the buffet is right in character. You really end with great suspense. What is happening with Paige? Hope someone hears her and comes to the rescue. judi

Thank you for the kind review and you are right. Things are moving slowly.

You're so welcome. With someone grabbing Paige, that should move the investigation along. judi

Paige is holding true to her reputation of getting into trouble/ This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read.

As soon as the police are finished with my house, - add comma
we're not only bein' spoon feed - fed
Cash, stop at the closest - add comma for direct address
and would please point out the toothpicks - would you please
As the fived left the restaurant - five
Look, they're packing up - add the comma
Good dialogue and very telling character development throughout such as when the chief wipes his hand after shaking Nala's hand
That is one cliffhanger of a closing

Thank you for catching those. A couple of things I just spaced out. I've had the flue and I guess my brain isn't connected yet. THANK YOU

Yes, I could tell from a couple of the mistakes that they were of the "I am not up to snuff" type as opposed to actual errors :-)
