Excellent start to Chapter sixteen. I loved it. I wonder why the meter didn't register any activity in the house, was Bradley outside the entire time? I guess I will just have to wait for Part 2 of this chapter. Excellent job.

Paige grabbed the plastic bags. "I'll hold on to these." (she likes the ghost. I'd like to have one too.)

"I figured that all the time(, and I don't own any fancy tools." Billy Joe eyed Paige. "Do you
Yeah, Bradley is in trouble now. Let's hope he can get out of it.

Hi, Barb. You certainly have the expertise flowing through this chapter.

"Not necessarily. When ghosts manifest themselves the barometric pressure can rise and lower in that specific area." Wes gave it to a male member of his paranormal team and said, "Wait for me on the porch." After he watched his four team members walk toward the house, he held two rods. "These dowsing rods are used to detect spiritual energy. If ghosts are around, they'll either cross or uncross." Next, he held two small plastic bags."

The imagery is great as usual, too. Good hook at the end.

Suggestions: "Blake, he shook each of their hands" (This is rather clumsy, barb...I think just "shook their hands" is fine.

Bravo and Merry Christmas, Barb. Bob

I was afraid someone would comment on it. I had some strange reviews lately. Thank you for the kind review.

btw, Barb. Am I misunderstanding? Do you feel I am right in my suggestion? And if you do, why in the world didn't you change it if you suspected something was wrong? LOL Bob

Yes, I do feel you are right. I was just explaining why it's the way I have it. I just received a three. The said I should abandon the ghost storyline completely. I am getting some really horrible reviews and I am afraid to do anything right now.

Interesting story line is becoming more interestng/more complex. I like that the story is told by the characters. The dialogue is specific to each person. Looking forward to another chapter! Caroline

Oh! I have a huge grin on my face at that surprise conclusion to this part, Barbara. That was some real creativity - I think most will be completely caught off guard by Bradley's mischief outside the house. It's a very suspenseful way to end too. I loved it!

A good chapter, Barbara, with some good humor at the end. It sounds like Bradley is going to turn out to be quite a character.

LOL they have planted things to catch the ghost but are needlessly being overly cautious. Paige thinks its funny but no one else does. Then, Bradley shows he is still at it.

This was a fun chapter. I a so pleased Bradley took Paige's advice and avoided the ghost hunters. He seems to have a sense of humor too. As I said, this was a fun chapter and I look forward to the next one.

I thought that this was a good write. As usual your dialogue is on point and is moving the story along well in this character driven novel. I think I've mentioned this before, but I also enjoy the shorter chapter breaks as on screen, they definitely help keep the write more succint. Excellent work here, thanks for sharing.
