Yikes, I have to wait to see what happens! I'm being 'forced' to go out to lunch. My hubby is one mean hombre. (*.*)

Back attcha later. Another good chapter.

Wow what next huh. Still exciting intriguing and all that. Still not dull by any means. What jollies have you cooked up for us now? No Spags.

Oh this is getting so good, and a little creep. I'm betting that even after Cash and Billy Joe see the video they still won't belive in Bookman. Either way Paige got some serious backup for her home.

Whoops! Somehow I read this chapter after I'd read the one about Paige and the group actually watching the video. No matter, it was still an excellent chapter, even if I did read it a bit out of sequence.

I don't believe Paige did manipulate anything that went on inside the house, nor do I believe she used any special FX to create what happened to Daniel and Tyler. I believe she actually has a poltergeist inhabiting her home, in addition to Bradley's ghost. Poltergeists are notorious for hurtful and harmful behavior, throwing things around the house, causing hallucinations, etc.

Also, that would be terrible to return home form a trip and be told you couldn't go into your own home. We all know, no matter how well the vacation one takes goes, there's no place quite like home...

Nice job, Barbara!

I made a mistake in posting and reposted this on instead of the one I mean to post. OH Dear, of course Tom wouldn't let me correct it. At least you got points for reading. Thank you for the kind review.

Oops! Reviewed in wrong order, but that is because I started from the top...and I cannot always review each chapter section. One good sign in your writing is that I jump in on any chapter and never feel lost.

The characterization is consistent, (though I do think it could be a little more multidimensional). The style and good pacing are also consistently good. I get the gist of the plot but have not read steadily enough to comment on its structure (yet). Each scene I read unfolds vividly. Well done.

You do a great job of using gestures and expressions to enhance both characterization and dialog. Well done!

This turn of events is not ringing true. Since when can an owner not enter his house because it is haunted? There's no law concerning haunted property except that if you sell it, you're required to disclose the information. :) Nancy

I had no problem following this story. It flowed in an easy manner, not forced and the scenes knitted very well. Great picture too. Look forward to reading more of this story/

I like the slow unfolding of suspense that you are managing without endless repetition. Excellent. The premise sounds exciting. The addition of the police presence only adds to the urgency and suspense of the piece. The masterful way you injected the forward trajectory of the story (conversation between the two girls in the SUV) was excellent. You let us discover the news about Clive and the relationship rather than just stating it. Well done.

Confused a little less than you think... only because it is good writing.I will read the others to enjoy myself further...This piece has the qualities of a movie, especially if avoiding today's stereotips and comes up with some novelties in its kind...
