That's a good question 'Could a ghost play tricks on Tyler and Daniel or did Paige pay for special effects?' I can't wait to find out.
I can't help but think it is a real ghost. However, I don't believe in ghosts.

Good chapter, Barbara. Sorry, but I've forgotten who Cleve Clover is. Is that Paige's ex-fianc©? If so, I wonder why she didn't seem to upset by the news of his death, but I guess I'll find out as the story goes on.

Lots of excitement, and deserves six stars. It seems there was a lot of action at Paige's house while they were away. Paige gets the news about Cleve's death. Doesn't seem too broken up. They catch Daniel and Tyler breaking in, but they have a story about mean ghosts hurting them. Billy Joe has his suspicions that Paige hired somebody to rig the ghost effects. I can't see what Paige would gain by having special effects rigged up to scare the men. It seems she was interested in catching the ones who've been breaking in. Redman is involved, too, as Walker's been blackmailing him. Quite a story! judi

I don't think Paige hired anybody and there are such things a spirits, good....angels....bad...demons...that's all I know for sure. Good chapter. She didn't seem to be too upset about Cleve. God loves you and I do too.

I think a six is warranted for the sheer number of ghosts taking a hand in this story. Sounds as if Bradley Bookman has invited half the town's deceased to join him in sorting out the baddies here.

Being a little more caught up with the story has certainly helped with this review. The narrative is smooth and is moving the story along at a good pace. The dialogue was believable and did not feel jarring or contrived. I didn't notice any SPAG issues along the way either. Great work on this chapter overall, keep up the good work.

Good chapter. I like the comment about the orb in a picture. That seems to happen a lot with digital photography around haunted places. I have a friend who used to work with me who is an amateur ghost hunter. He has some amazing pictures he took in St. Augustine.

Thank you for the kind review. I honestly haven't decided if I believe in ghosts or not, but Paige does so that is all I need to worry about right now.

Oh their plan worked and someone was in the house last night. It appears they left thinking the house was really haunted yet Paige said she didn't hire any special effects. Oh boy!!
