Hi Carolyn,
I enjoyed reading your work. Nicely penned, expressive imagery and emotion - I loved the feel good vibes I got from it. You penned a great message for us.

Hi Carolyn,

Aww, you missed my profile pic, lol. Usually i will post it for a few days to let my friends and reviewer know my face and then change the pic to a scenery or something else, smiles. Will post again one more time for a few days for you to catch it again.
Now the review. The stroy had a very gentle and sincre flow to it all the way. As a reviewer i can feel the words and the passion with full of sincerity and ernest - to share a smile and give support to those who needs it.
Usually when writers wrtie about themselves they tend to wrte about who they are not instead of who they are. In this write you did share with us the 'mirrors to your soul' and we saw so much joy, laughter and a smile in them, smiles.
It is not easy to wrtie about ourselves but you did it with such brilliance. It did remind us to go one level up - to look upon orselves and life with a celebrative mood and to appreciate the people in our lives.
truly wonderful wrtie and exclelently penned too. Smiles.
Cheerio, hugs and luv, bro Ritchie. :))

P.S. Have posted my profile pic and will be up there for just a few days only, smiles.

Thank you for this wonderful review. I have seen your handsome face each time you have posted it. As well as on the cover of your book, available on Amazon. You are living a wonderful life and sharing that insight with many. Have I told you lately how much I appreciate you, Ritchie? Well I do, Love, Carolyn

    Hi sis Carolyn,

It is good that my Godma misscookie encouraged you to put up that pic, smiles. Your dad knew what he was talking about those eyes of yours but i think your smile is the one that will capture the children and adults alike.
I am sure you are familiar with Karen aka cookie333 and the two of you are windows to souls of writing. Why? Both can tell us something so beautiful yet in so simple a way.
Karen loves her family very much and so do you - a Duet Peom about family values can bring a lot of sixers if the two of you co-write a Family theme-based write, smiles.
The writing can bring on a smile, a heartfelt message and even a hoot to lighten us about the American way of life, smiles.
If you are up for another HPC Duet Poem challenge, i shall contact Karen and I am sure she wil go for it eagerly.
Come to think of it, i will initiate Karen to write a Duet Poem with you and it will be hard to guess who wrote which verse (I will bet anyone to the last dollar on this). Do try to imitate each other and give everyone a run for their guesses. Write a quatrain poem with 4 verses in 2 or 4 PARTS to ensure each have the same number of postings at a time. This is will be the first initiative of the HPC grouping as Karen is a 'member' too, smiles.
I do appreciate you encouragement and kind thoughts for all of us here. Remember the the HPC members are handpicked for their love of life and their happy attitude towards life, smiles.
Cheerio, hugs and luv, bro Ritchie. :))

I would love to write a Duet with Karen. My site has given me 'internal error' for a couple of days so I am behind. Let me know and if it is ok she can start the ball rolling. Love you and thanks for the compliment on my picture. (I am 67 but holding up pretty well LOL) Smiling does that to folks. :-) Carolyn

    Hi dear,

Somehow, we do not really grow to our age when we are happy and the mind just do not age. I still think and act the same way I did many decades ago. Smiles.
Somehow the word 'old' does not come to mind when we are healthy and running around like the children and grand (okay, we cannot play catch with them but we are certainly just as playful in our own way).
Okay, i shall ask Karen to communicate with you. Might be a good idea for the two of you to read one or two of each other's works and see the form and presentation styles and our minds will adjust itself (maybe even straighten itself, lol) and the duet writing get going. Remember EACH PART of the poem must be penned by two writers to make it trully a Duet and not a collaboration whereby eahc author writes one part for posting, smiels. Good luck.
Aww, you have problem with the site and so do we and we cannot log in at times and teh page will direct me tot he yahoo search engine page, smiles.
Have a great and lovely day.
My next series write is a 'tourbillion' - npot many will be familiar with this thing, smiels.
Cheerio, lot sof luv an dhugs, bro Rithcie. :)).

P.S. I am 57, so you will be the 'elder sister' to me, smiles. One day Faith will ask "How come you don't grow old like me?" Smiles.

What makes me sparkle? Having dear, sweet people such as yourself in the world. Having the ability to extend a hand of friendship to an elderly person in one of the nursing homes I volunteer in as an "Adopted Son" (and yes, believe it or not, the majority of them absolutely adore my spooky stories!). Having my eyesight, limited as it is, to be able to read the outpouring of gratitude, love and kindness from a posting such as yours...

These are just a few things that came to mind.

Wonderfully done, notesandmore.

Hi Carolyn,

What a sweet wonderful write. And yes, your eyes do SPARKLE, as does your posting. Thanks for posting your pic. We can now put a wonderful face to your wonderful writes.

You have captured what FanStory means to most of us, I think. Like you I initially wanted to post, read and learn. I have found sooo much more here, having made many wonderful on-line friendships. I think that every Fanstorian will connect well with what you have said here. And you said it very well.

Wishing you a wonderful day!

Hugs,
bichonfrisegirl aka Connie

Awe, what a warm and heart-touching "letter/story" this is, such a pleasure to read...great idea to refer to it as being "A Love Story", because it truly is!

Thanks for sharing this Carolyn, and know that I appreciate the wonderful and honest reviews that I can always count on getting from you since I joined F.S. just a couple of short months ago!! :)

Warmly...

Jeffrey

This is a beautiful post from the author. I am so glad that you have enjoyed your stay on FanStory. I joined in June, so my anniversary is a while off yet, but I am feeling the same way as you about my experience. Well done.

Thank you. I seem to be doinf better at the script writing than my novels, but writing books is what I really want to do.
