An excellent foray into the mind of a tortured soul. The character of Sheriff Dugan is a reminder that everything in life is not black or white, that there are many shades of gray. I'm glad Tracy can sleep again.

A well-written, but very sad story. I am glad it is fiction, but there are too many similar cases which are true. It is so very sad. This one touched my heart~Debbie

Boy this was sure a great story. The love she once felt for her husband was gone and in it's place stood the long arm of the law. Sigh.

Wow, this is a really fantastic story, so very well written, draws the reader in from start to finish. Very cleverly composed, you paint a vivid picture of your characters.
The picture is just adorable.

Well done, good luck in the competition.

Excellent writing! Captivated from beginning to end. It is so realistic it is hard to separate fiction from the emotions it stirred.

In a word, powerful. This piece is wonderfully well written and shockingly poignant. I've seen too much of this crap not be able to relate to any of the characters. Its realistic and chilling with vivid descriptions and an excellent flow.
Very good, my friend.

You have the ability to make a great story come from a small sentence. I really enjoyed reading this. This was written very well. Thank you.

This was a very touching story. The last paragraph actually gave me chills. I like how we came in during the middle of the ordeal and you led us to a heartfelt end.

I think just now. That was horrible, I felt like a drug addict who couldn't get her fix. I think I may have a problem. I don't stay logged in but I like to check in often throughout the day. I didn't know what to do with myself. I had to resort to FB. Lol
