Whoohooo! The man has scruples and didn't want to take advantage.
I think he's not listening to her, "Yeah, baby, come to Mamma."
Great chapter.

Thank you, I really appreciate this.

No! Paige needed to hold out a little longer. Make him sorry for having her worry so. Uh, she's puddy in his arms. Thank goodness, she gets under his skin just as much.

Paige cares a lot for Cash, but both are too stubborn to admit it. Thank you.

Hi Barbara:)
"I'm a country boy. I know how to handle myself."{In reality Cash doesn't have a clue about handling himself with women. Maybe Paige wanted him to lose a little romantic control.}
When Paige confronts Cash about running out when she dressed a bit more sexy than he expected, his only excuse for leaving her alone was, "Maybe I was hungry."
With that lame excuse, Cash almost blew Paige's romantic plans. Fortunately after Paige plied the real reason out of Cash, this wonderful exchange took place:
Cash put his finger over her lips. "Because that's how I was raised and that's who I am." He removed his finger, put his arms around her, and his lips tenderly met hers.
After the kiss, Cash continued to hold Paige. "We good?"
Paige nodded. We're perfect.
Now I am sending you my love and Irish Hugs for your great healing dialog.

Good job. I'm enjoying catching up. Some of the actions in your scenes are quite vivid; however, Paige slapping Cash was a little over kill.

Thank you for the kind review. Paige is very high strung and I wanted her to show a lot of emotion.

The second chapter I have come across in terms of keeping in touch. Yo are a long way in.
Nothing to report this time.
A good flow, good dialogue with emotions in the right places.
I don't know where the story is going now from which it is derived, but wherever that is, it is on its way.
Not so much more I can add yo this, if only to say , keep going.
Good work.

Well I am intrigued, where is it that Cash was last night? You have managed to capture the feeling of fear, worry tension so well. The reader feels it to. I have not read your previous chapters but intend to do so. Am looking forward to more

All that angst! All that conversation, and he slept in the SUV. Loved it! I kept waiting for the secret of the night but he turns out to be moral...noone expects that.

Paige was worried and shows that to Cash. Their argument was intense. she thinks about the worst things. But then Cash explains that he didn't feel comfortable of things happening because of the way he was raised. I wonder if that was really the reason.
