Well, sit me down or blow me over! Where the hell did he go, There's no creek to settle his sensibilities, so Cash, boy, needs to get back in the saddle.

Whew, at this rate, these two will remain platonic for a coons age.

Cheers & Blessings

Billy Joe sounds so much like my Dad, too kewl.

Uh-oh, I bet Paige bunks with Cash so that Mary Pat and Billy Joe can have that dream honeymoon. I feel it coming. Am I right?

Yay!, I knew it, I just knew it. Billy Joe and Mary Pat get the honeymoon. Whoo hoo!

What the heck - is Cash trying to be a tease?

Dang it, my luch break is over. I'll be back later tonight.

Well done as always.

I don't know how I missed this chapter. Caah is good fellow. Paige better marry him. I enjoyed the chapter, Barbara. It's a lot of fun when you can travel this way. This is well written. I enjoyed the chapter.

I rarely jump into the middle of a book I have not read from the start, but I've NEVER seen a reward as large as 1.98... for two more pumps you could reach two bucks! I'd be insane to pass that up. How can you possibly have had enough pumps saved up to do this??? WOW.

Well, I owe you a review, so I will say that the dialogue seems natural with good use of action tags to keep the reader focused... and... Who doesn't love a chocolate lab?

I had saved my pumps from the summer when I had time to actually review, and I use them throughout the school year. I made a mistake and actually hit an extra zero. I hate that. Thank you for the kind review.

Aha! I figured there was a reason for it. You must have saved a ton of them from not posting all summer. Good for you!

Dear Barbra,
This was a fun excursion through Atlanta. Braves beating the Dodgers...is this a fantasy book?:) Nice touch at the end with the romance and the cliffhanger--Ted

Thank you for sharing the next instalment of your book. Like your comment says if I don't read it all its a bit confusing. I think you had great dialogue, I hope the book is progressing as well as you'd like it to.

Wow! This chapter has it all, eh, Barb. Very good writing...Lots of dialogue to keep up with, but you write it so effortlessly that it's great to read. Bravo! Bob

You've certainly got a good graspe of dialogue in this piece. Though this is the first work of yours I've come across, I definitely believed these four were a close group of friends. Of course, the day seemed a little too perfect, so I imagine there's some trouble coming up in your story. Thanks for the author's notes. They were helpful.

This is a nice tour of Atlanta and a perfect exploration of the characters in a different element. Some are out of theirs and most interesting to see them that way. Cash is out of his mind at the end. And, of course, we MUST find out why. Excellent spot to leave us at. The dialogue is wonderful throughout as is the writing as it as been from the first word I read. I am totally into a story that would normally not appeal to me. Don't tell my poker buddies but, I liked "Little Women" too. ha! mikey
