I really did enjoy this short story. It was very cute. I like how descriptive you were and how you wove your words. The picture fits the story pristinely. My only suggestion would be to look back on punctuation and capitalization in a few places. Missing commas, periods, etc. is all. This was a great piece to read. I hope you consider my comments and suggestions. Keep writing!-Lily

Dear Carolyn
Thank you for the trust . I am very sorry you have so much on your hands.
Pray .as you say here God knows everything. Believe it, God is always ready to help the pure hearted.
As for the story ,I love it very very gentle .you write this kind of story so well.
The question Faith asks is very relevant. From my meditation and studies, I could hazard a answer. But you will have to give me permission first.

God bless you and your family

Thank you Bennie, as usual I always appreciate your comments, concern and encouragement. I would enjoy reading the 'fruits' of your meditation regarding Faith's question. I am writing PaPa's answer in the near future. I look forward to hearing from you.

    Dear Carolyn
This is the answer. But please please it is tentative. Although as far as my belief goes, it is my absolute belief. Think on it before believing.

The question is how does God know everything?
God is formless, although he can take any form, such as Jesus and other Avatars.
But he is basically formless and he cannot himself take birth.
His qualities are three in number.
    First. He is truth
    Second .he is consciousness
And third he is ecstasy as in the reincarnation of Buddha

Here we are talking of the second Quality.
You remember what Jesus told one of his disciples

Jesus said. Do you see these sparrows on the branch. They cost a mere farthing, meaning insignificantly unimportant. Yet not one will fall on the ground without my father knowing it.

This means in his second quality ! There is nothing that happens in this world, universe that god does not know it at once.
    Why?
    Because he is consciousness.
He does not have to move to answer your prayer in America and answering my prayer in London.
He is both in America and London and everywhere in this universe at the same time -he is cosmic consciousness
So how does he know ask Faith
He is formlessLy everywhere, at one time, at all time.
There no place in this universe where he is not.
He hears, he sees. He feels everything
Sorry to be lecturing. Please forgive me in case I hurt your feelings.

Faith sounds like a bright little girl with an inquiring mind. I hope PaPa did a good job of explaining that one!
One spag:

Thanks Nicole, I am glad there is only one SPAG, I try for none but rarely make it. :-) I am so glad you liked this one, yes Faith is a unique little girl. Carolyn

We all have spag - that's why FS is a great place to air your work first.

I agree, how is your publication going? Good luck with it.
reply by Curly Girly on 18-Oct-2013
I've sent it to one publishing house. But the rule of etiquette is that I should not inquire about it - they'll contact me. Dumb idea! How do I even know if they've received it or not? It would be good manners on their part if they would be courteous and let me know that they have received it.
I am planning to contact them next week, because it will be 6 weeks since I submitted - and that is supposed to be the turn around time. If I get no joy, then I will publish on Amazon. I was hoping to do this before Christmas...time will tell.
I'm not prepared to send it to 70 publishing houses and maybe wait 10 years before I get a royalty or payment.
It's no wonder that Amazon is fast becoming the new place to buy and sell.
    Thanks for asking.
reply by the author on 18-Oct-2013
I was wondering about Amazon myself. They seem to be reputable. And if it is the first endeavor it appears self publishing is the thing. I am used to money coming in for my work, not going out. LOL Sounds like you are the same way. lOL Shame, they don't all see it my way. I totally relate. Good luck.

This is really very good, excellently written and very interesting artwork.

I don't envy having to explain that one to a 5 year-old, nor even to a 10 year-old for that matter!

Thanks for sharing and all the best to you!

Warmly...

Children are so innocent and their silliness brings a smile on our face. They have a lot of questions going on in their mind and they want their answers too. It is so cute and adorable as they ask them with gleaming eyes:)

Hi Marwa, first thank you for the wonderful review. Second, what did I miss, what is Eid, I'm sorry, I could see by the face that I made you sad. Certainly not on purpose. Tell me about it, Carolyn
reply by Bundhoo on 18-Oct-2013
    you are welcome!!
This is our second Eid like you people celebrate christmas !!let me tell you about this,,,
God said in Prophet Abrahm's dream that sacrifice your most precious thing for Almighty..... for 3 days He saw same dream...
He thought that His most precious thing is His Son,Prophet Ismail, but how can I sacrifice my son"
He told this to his Son,who said that if Almighty wants this than I'm ready !!
after that Prophet Abrahm and His son went to some land and when He was about to cut the neck of His son,He opened His eyes and saw that there was a goat there and His son was safe and sound!!
So for this reason we celebrate Eid and sacrifice an animal for ALMIGHTY.....!!

A very cute story Carolyn. :) That is a terrific picture that you posted to complement your write. It is perfect!

Out of the mouthes of babes .... is what I thought when I read your account of Faith asking if He uses a telescope. A perfectly logical question from a small fry. :)

This write leaves the reader in a 'feel good' mode.

Very nice, Carolyn!

Thanks Kat, I am glad you enjoyed this. She is 'something' else. How is Dylan? :-) Carolyn
reply by MizKat on 17-Oct-2013
Thanks for asking about Dylan. I haven't seen him for awhile. His grandma, my oldest granddaughter, has been watching him lately. She put pictures of him eating cookies on Facebook and of course he's smiling. I think I'll go back and save a couple of them.
