Scary stuff with humor...is in keeping with the horror Hollywood stuff that's out there today. Is it Halloween everyday in your house. No! I bet in real life, you're a real teddy bear. LOL

Hah, yes, it is, nearly every single day of the year. How'd you ever guess that?
And, you're right, I am a big Teddy Bear. Here's one of my latest pictures, taken by my daughter just this weekend...
Ha Ha! Thanks for the wonderful review, amahra...

Outstanding story as always! I love the twists and turns and plays on words or happenings that summon a few chuckles right in the middle of a bloody mess that's about to recharge with another gory deed. Another GREAT story!
Thanks for another GREAT read!

Dean,
I can't believe you have a video of a mess in the sink. LOL I didn't know I could make a video of the mess in my basement. The city sewer had backed up and there was about six inches of sewer water in my basement. All fixed and clean now but there for a while ... chaos.
I really like this story. Some notes:
LOL LOVE the graphics!
I see you are a Grimm fan.
Her head collided against the corner of the kitchens(kitchen's) center island with a sickening thud
Imagery is excellent.
Love,
Barbara

Hah, thanks Barabara, when I saw the video of that guy plunging his sink (or trying to), I just knew I had to include it.
I'm very happy to know that the added graphics are appealing to you. It's used in graphic novels, so why not here, right?
Yes, I am a HUGE Grimm fan.
I made the requested edit, too...
Thanks, again!

Dean,
You are very welcome. LOL He isn't a very good plumber's helper. I hope the laundry came out better. My goal is to write a graphic novel. It's funny because in 1990 my goal was to go to computer graphics art school. I didn't get to. I have to do it some day.
I am a huge Grimm fan as well. I can't wait until he's back. Thank God I have Walking Dead back.
Love,
Barbara

Yuch! You actually made me check for the tidy bowl man with a razor before I used the toilet. The ghoul coming out of the sink-great scene. Reminds me of the King story about the possessed laundry press- one of his early short story collections. Well, time to flush..What the? Aaaaaaa!

Awesome! "Manson Family Values"... new reality show!
This is hideously gruesome enough to be a good Halloween fit, and the author's notes explanation just added to that! Whio knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men??

Ok. I am trying to be supportive, Dean, but I'm having trouble reading these. They are so spooky, especially with the sound effects. I guess that means you are doing a great job. lol
I do like reading your author's notes to see where you get your inspiration. I think I'll be glad when Halloween is over. Good job!

Sorry, boxergirl, and I appreciate how supportive you have been, truly. I realize these types of stories aren't everyone's "cup-of-tea", so to speak. However, I certainly appreciate those that don't normally read anything in the horror genre taking their valuable time to read my work, it means a lot!

Oh Dean, this is really disgusting but also SO well-described! I am presuming that the two separate stories are related by the second one actually being what had happened in that house in the first place, yes? But Fran Bishop? She was related to the murdered family?
His name is Preston and hers is Bishop? You call her Fran Preston at first. I'm just a bit confused..."The last thought that went through Frances Bishop's mind..." yet earlier - "Francis Preston was always the calming voice..." She talked her husband into buying the house because it had been in her family?
Was Bailey Fenton was related too? I get that he was affiliated with Charlie Manson and that 'family'...

Hah, sorry about that, Dawn, I inadvertently wrote "Bishop" for Frances last name, but meant "Preston", so, no wonder you were confused, LOL...I have since changed it. Funny how no one else mentioned that!
No, Bailey wasn't related to the Prestons or the Bishops. However, the things he'd left buried beneath their house became restless, wanting revenge, and the poor Preston family just happened to be there at the time.
Bad luck...
Thanks for the great review, and for catching that typo!

Dean, I have to apologize. I could only read part of your story. For some reason, my crummy laptop cut off the right hand margin, lopping off sentences. Not amount of finagling on my part will remedy the situation. I think I need an equipment upgrade.
Again, my apologies.
Peace, Lee

No worries, Humpwhistle. Try minimizing the entire screen to 80% on your windows internet explorer or equivelent settings, in the upper right hand corner of your browser. That works for me, sometimes.

Really, really creepy and too horrid to contemplate.
Very well written and it had the desired effect.(on me at least.)
Are these mutilators actually called humans?
I'm so glad no houses or land is for sale or rent near our house.
I guess I'll be counting sheep instead of sleeping tonight-too scared to close my eyes.(Well...maybe)
