Push it to the limit, there is no book on what you can do at a certain age!
You kept my interest, and I loved the bush turkey bit.
the onlookers sure appreciated your walk to the podium. loved the 'complementary lipstick' bit.

This was a fun short read. It delivers a powerful and positive message too.
I have some corrections to offer:
*You wrote this:
"Great, don't ever get to old to have fun", = wrong
Suggest:
"Great, don't ever get TOO old to have fun," = right
Two corrections were made in the above sentence:
TOO & [,"]
The comma should be inside the quotation marks with speech.
"Okay," said CG. = right
"Okay", said Carolyn. = wrong

John, it was the most amazing thing, about 5 years ago we were driving out to an Octoberfest in a small town west of where we live. As we were going through one town to get to the other, we saw a city fair. We stopped and this local mom and pop dealership was selling motorcycles and had a beautiful one on display. (we have since become friends with them) Larry said, "let's just sit on that one and see how it feels". He bought the darn thing! and rode it home. (Much to my delight) I absolutely love it. We don't ride often but it has been worth every penny. He had a motocross background, I had none. We are in our 60's. Never too old to have fun. Be safe, you ole Yankee lover you. So glad you enjoyed this. Carolyn

Love the picture. Love the message. Good build-up with descriptions of proper biker attire and the joy of riding back roads. Larry's knows how to handle the beast. I can imagine your pleasure when people applauded. Surely a moment to remember.

This is a wonderful story that the author has created with this piece of writing. The writer tells the reader of the thrill of biking. I know all too well that bikers wear black because it is cool, even if it makes them harder to see.
