Hello, Carolyn, I just had to see what your writing was like. (You just reviewed a poem of mine.) I like your humorous little story. OH, I got my laugh for the day. As you may guess I am a grandparent and a great grandparent. Gotta love the little ones, huh?

Hi there, yes, my writing is diverse. Faith is one of those side paths to poetry that I take now and then. She is a hoot, aren't grandchildren wonderful, you are lucky, I don't have a great-grand yet. Stop by anytime,I am delighted you liked 'Papa's squeaky chair'. :-) Carolyn

LOL, I am a grandparent of three small granddaughters and can envision this very scene, thanks to your vivid writing. We now enjoy telling tales on our grown sons when we're together. Get ready Faith, your days of adult embarrassment are coming.

Yep, she is so very funny. She told me before school started, if you think I'm smart now GeGe, (that's me) just wait 'til I start to Kindergarten. She hasn't disappointed us. So happy to hear your story too. Thanks so much for the great review and rating, Carolyn

This reminds me of my great granddaughter. She is a joy to be with. At four, she always wanted to writing her book on my computer.

Oh yes, we have a few of those that Faith dictated and I have them printed out in booklet form. She has quite an imagination. Good to hear from you David. Carolyn

Very funny. I especially like the name Faith for the minister's granddaughter. At first I wasn't sure if you were talking about a girlfriend, a puppy or a child, though. Sorry - I'm always looking for the misdirection - the twist. Adorable story. :) Nancy

Yep, that's hilarious! Children come up with the most innocent but amusing sayings, not even trying to b funny.

If I may ask, is "Papa" your husband? And i so what denomination are you?

I myself was raised in the Independent Baptist denomination, not that that makes any difference in God's eyes.

Y'all have a blessed week,
Your Friend.........Jerry

Hi Jerry, Yes, Faith is our granddaughter. She is a hoot. PaPa (Larry, my husband) preaches for the Church of Christ. We have both been Christians since our youth. This is a true story. :-) Carolyn

This is a beautiful poem about the love between father and daughter. I loved this story and it brought a smile to my face. I love this little girl and hope to be reading a lot more about her in future.

Naw, you couldn't be more right. As a grandparent, I can't ever get enough of them. I loved it. I can just hear her saying that, I could never keep from laughing. Just too funny. I'm so happy you shared this with us.
