It is a sad thing to see the news in modern times. Our schools have become a killing grounds. War has become cost efficient and can kill for less money. Very well written.

This is a poignant piece referring to all the things in society that lacks any important priority. and yet my children have xbox and they still play outside. we say hi to the man on the side of the road. It isn't all bad.

The tears of life fall from all our faces to mix with God's own to collect in the darker regions of this earth hopefully to drown out evil and thoughtlessness. How else should man think about what is going in the world. Is it the logic of human destiny? Excellent write

This is truly a remarkable piece of work. I enjoyed it very much. The story you tell is amazing and your poem is in perfect form. The music is soft and mellow, as it should be with a piece like this. Fantastic job. Bill

This is a very good poem. I really really liked it, and the background sound is sad and so mystical at the same point. Yes, we often wonder what will happen after death. Indeed there are so many tragedies happening in this world. I especially liked that one you referred about the homeless. I am trying to bring awareness of this in my story.

Thanks very much, Angel, and you do a great job of calling attention to the plight of the homeless. Don't think for one second that it goes unnoticed, my friend!

You're welcome. I hope so. You know, one day I left home, I had many problems with my mother in one side, my father and step father in another side. For a time I became homeless. I saw the reality then. People would stare at me and at the people I was with disgust. Something I was not used to, my family had money. Still I felt happier surrounded by those people than with my family, even though I struggled daily with food and never knew where I would be sleeping at night.

I'm really loving this facet of your writing and the mood /inspirational music is perfect. You have a beautiful gift Dean and its people like you that truly inspire me to continue to write be it ever so simple and humble compared to your beautiful words. As much as I enjoy your horror style I enjoy this writing just as much.
if I may be so bold just one line in one verse for perfect rhyme:
People don't trust strangers anymore,
they cower in fear behind closed doors.
Old man on the road, they'll surely pass;
assessments have never been so sparse
its only that crass..doesn't rhyme with pass..just a thought..look it still reads beautifully it was just a suggestion
as always dip

This is an extremely thought-provoking poem from the author. The writer tells the reader a few home truths about this world that we live in. I watch the news all the time and it depresses me so much. There is so much war, strife and suffering in the world, I just wonder if it will it ever end.

Thanks very much, Tomes. I wonder the same thing, my friend. I think I will avoid the nightly news, just stick to the old horror movies that I usually watch at night. They're a lot less scary!
Thanks, again, my friend!

I agree.

Oh God! the poem is just out of the world with a unique way of transcending you with its words and the music ....all along the poem you feel as if it is your soul saying the same,as if you are feeling the same , as if you are no more but a spirit or words or tears or simply music, yet you are not dead but very much alive just like a spirit, words, and music that never dies.Congrats.

Thank you very much for connecting with this piece so deeply, CK Kaur. You pretty much hit on every emotion that I was feeling at the time, almost as if you were inside my head...

Such a moving rendition. The ebb and flow of this grand drama (as all good, yea great poetry should do) compels you to reflect and then react. You give, without doubt, each reader cause to pause after each stanza and ponder their own personal journey. Exceptionally done.
The haunting music only adds to the this reflective piece.
Till the last amen.
