Your presentation is so-o-o-o boring. Ha!!!! This is lovely, dear. A real departure. I had to check twice to make sure it was your work I was reading. This rolls smoothly like a big blue marble. I liked your last stanza the best. Rhyming solid. Content poignant. A nice ride. Lynda

PS. You don't have to answer this. I know you are swamped with replies. Well done, Sparky.

Hah, nope, I answer all of my reviewers eventually. It is the least that I can do, I feel. We have just moved into a new home, so I've been swamped on that end, trying to get everything done. I really appreciate your review, Lylise, and you will always get a reply back from me. You can count on it!

I'm sure will get all types of feed back concerning this beautiful piece. Let me say that the astronauts had some very amazing remarks describing your thoughts about the earth's view from above. Well done my artist friend.

Oh, thank you for that music...soft and silky, like a softening lotion in this troubled world. My fave "all that sunshine-- just gone to waste,
Xbox and Wii are more their tastes--"

You have painted a very visual picture of what life after death might be like. Seeing the world and all its sorrows and crying teardrops of sadness from what you see. We do live in a broken world but thankfully one day, I'll go home to be with my Heavenly Father, and then no more tears!
The music and picture were awesome additions! Good job!!

Hello Dean, Exceptional writing. I wish I had a sixer left but I am of stock. I like your play on the color blue--something that I also like to do. Your poem speak of so many truths, all profound. Of note:

Kids stay in, they miss so much fun;
before they know it, summer's done,
all that sunshine-- just gone to waste,

(Just perhaps, the above is Mother Nature's way of preparing future generations to live indoors when Earth's oxygen has been too polluted to inhale with a purifying device.)

I did like your chosen artwork even though I am usually not a fan of artwork that is larger/grander than the writing itself. The artwork works well here.

Also:
children with mom, however, no dad...
Where is the happiness we once had?

(The above is the primary reason for so many emotional issues which strains society and continue to grow and harm multi-generations of families.)

Dean, The world is the bluest and the saddest that it has ever been. Let's pray for (and activate) change before the prayer is banned and change is too late. I'm sorry that I don't have a six. Sincerely, LateBloomer

This is truly a poem of deep feeling for the people of today's world. It's true, it's true, life is not as it used to be. Technology has certainly taken over the world in the hands of the young. Just go to dinner with your children and grandchildren....they all have their cell phones and ipods out, no conversation. Your artwork is tremendous.
Bless you, Joan

I can not pick just one part that poem was breathtaking and beautiful. Yet sad. I never experienced a happiness we once had because my family has always struggled just its not as bad as my ancestors. I want so bad to do for my daughter what I never had. I love this poem. I do not like watching the news. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this poem.

Very powerful read and oh so painfully true.
Striking presentation and your imagery is very strong. I felt I was right beside you as I read the words.
Yes one wonders when we read the papers and watch the news.
How the heart of the Father must break when He sees what we have done with the world He created.
Thanks for sharing

Thank you kingskid. I think I will avoid the nightly news from now on, and get back to watching the old horror flicks I usually watch at night. They are a lot less scary!

The visuals are powerful and thoroughly enjoyable Dean, your words stir the emotions and cause the reader to ponder the world we live in at present, which should make for some interesting reviews. I loved it, very nice mate!

I love the art work you have included here to enhance the thoughts in this poem. The poem relates to how bad this planet has become and no one seems to want to make corrections to make it all smooth out. It all seems to rely of greed and arrogance. This was an excellently written piece of poetic art on the way this world is structured... John
