This is a ghost story, a crime story, and a love story, all wrapped into to one. You're doing a good job of making this interesting and keeping your readers wanting more.

It'll be nice to meet Cash's mom. I wonder why she's become a victim of vandals - to warn Cash away from Paige?
One thing to look at:
It's surface is to rough.- Its surface is too rough.
An interesting development, Barbara. :) nancy

Thank you for the kind review. I will fix that area. We have met Cash's mom a few times before.

Dear Barbara
The bad guys sure are putting a spin in this story. Chase's mum now having to move into Paiges house ....Some deeper mystery in this post and good hook at the end.
No issues I saw - a clean write and good read.
Thanks for sharing it.

First of all, I like the way you divide your chapters into 4 parts for FS. Things are heating up with the slashing of Cash's Mom's tires. Who is responsible? Maybe Bradley Bookman just wants them all together.

It's funny how these things happen in twos. Cash gets his elbow banged real hard and his mom has her tires slashed and window broken by a brick. This is more and more mysterious all the time.

Good chapter, Barbara.
Dealing with kids that age is always fun and interesting, especially nowadays, when they seem to know everything before they ever get to kindergarten.

I trust you have bought enough velco to keep your kids tied to their desk. A few roll of duct tape should keep them quiet. This is very well written.
