Your work showed up in the reviewing box, so this is the first I've read of your story, I like it. I thought your choice of artwork of the period wallpaper and your description of the renovation of the home shows solid research of the time.

Paige must have a lot of money for her friend to be willing to put up with her pain in the ass attitude and give her so much help. At least she still appreciates Morgan. Outstanding showing of character in this segment.

I loved this chapter. it was very human and felt right....the chat between the women and Page's contrite attitude... the little supernatural touch at the end of the chapter juxtaposed against the making of a logical chart was great. wonderful job--Ted

Too bad that Cash didn't get to see the old Confederate hat just float out the backdoor. Was a ghost wearing it? Maybe Cash should start believing in ghosts. One things certain, ring boxes and hats don't just move on their own. Some supernatural force around Paige's mansion.
I think maybe Paige finally believed Mary Pat when she said. "I can tell by the way Cash looks at you that he's interested in more than just friendship." Everyone else knows it's not money that Cash wants from Paige.
Maybe they just need to exchange love and Irish Hugs like I'm sending you.

She is having trouble believing people can simply be friends for friendship's sake. Her reading from the diary has her convinced that all men are after her fortune.
