Paige can only judge people by her past experience until she has evidence that these new friends are different. Well done, Barbara. :) nancy

Hi Barbara,

Cash took care of Cleve in his own way and I hope he doesn't come back to bother Paige. I wonder what he wants? Probably the fortune that Paige knows nothing about. I was surprised to learn Paige came from a wealthy family but she said she had as normal a life as any rich kid has. Have a good time with your parents and be safe. Well done....blessings, chey

Paige is worried that everybody just wants her cash. She wishes to be alone and ordinary. I suppose she could give it all away...and then she would be...but nobody rich ever does that! Being ordinary is way too difficult and has limited options.

It took time for the story to take hold but it has and I'm enjoying it. Paige is clearly conflicted on men and money and has trust issues, which shows you've done your research because this is hugely symptomatic of people who have inherited money. Good job.

Oh Barbara, this is such a touching chapter! I hate that Paige suspects Cash of being like her ex-fianc©, and I'm so glad Mary Pat gave her something to think about! Morgan didn't steal the show this time, but he sure is a sweet and big part of this story. :)

Good story. Rich heiresses always get to the point of believing the men they meet are after their money. When I was at UT I dated Denise Halliburton. Of course I was a transplanted Buckeye and had no idea about her family. LOL I went home with her for Thanksgiving. That was the first time I realized how rich she was. Her dad had a washroom in his study. I went there to relieve myself. About the toilet was a picture of her dad as a young man standing between LBJ and JFK when they were both Senators. When I came out I asked him about the picture, seeing as how from talking to him he was obviously a Republican. He said well, "It's displayed in the proper place, I think."

LOL Wow!!! I have a friend who's father was put in the Pentagon by LBJ. Her dad was a drunk and a wife and child abuser. It has always made me wonder. Thank you for the kind review.

Just go and have the time of your life. Wow, where has the summer gone, it seems like school just got out for summer and now it's ready to start again. Very good piece. I'm sure Cash is not out for her money. Good chapter. God loves you and I do too.

The story flows well with just a few issues with modifiers that would have made it even better. I like the north and south complication, it definitely leaves things open for major trouble. Nice job.

Another great addition to your novel. Cleve gets the heave ho he deserves. Paige begins to fret that everyone's after her money. Mary Lou tries to reassure her that's not the case with Cash. Certainly his actions have proved that his interest isn't about money. Mary Lou seems a very ground person, able to accept people for what they are, and she makes a good confidant to Paige. As Paige looks through the diary to see if there's any information about to whom the broach was left, and to try to resolve other mysteries. judi
