The pup stood on the porch and barked. After the door shut, he pawed and whined.
Ah, the poor thing. I feel for this little doggy.
But I had as normal of a childhood as a rich kid could have.
I like this line. It made me laugh. Must be nice being rich.
Paige looked up from the diary. "It's full of chicanery and mistrust."
Too often you never get to hear the word chicanery in a sentence.
"Every man I've met is just after my money, even Cash."
I think the irony here is every man is after her money and along comes a guy named Cash.

Cash after the cash, eh? But, it's easy to see how she might get that notion from her experience and after Billy Joe making that remark about her sponsoring a race car. You did an excellent job of painting that view.

Paige seems disillusioned and unhappy with life as she has known it. I guess someone with money could believe no one has pure motives and everyone is out to take your money. In most cases, she would probably be correct in that assumption. Her friends are looking at her differently now that they know her family has money. I don't think Cash has given her reason to think he is after her money but right now, she believes everyone is.

So she is an heiress. Money is good if you know how to use it, otherwise it can be another problem. For instance, people talk about rich guys having any woman they want. Well, if the woman is after his money, it doesn't matter how sophisticated she is, she is a prostitute nonetheless, and poor guys have access to prostitutes, so what's the difference? Good job describing everything. Everything was clear.

Another well written chapter or part anyway. I'm really enjoying the story. I saw no errors and have no suggestions for improvement. Look forward to the next chapter. Rox

This is coming together. I don't understand her mistrust of Cash after all he has done though. As always your chapters are interesting and keep the story moving. I hope you enjoy your time in the Midwest. Here the Kansas weather has been very mild. Have fun with your grandchildren.

I am following your novel, i want to know if Cash and Paige will finally find the love they both deserve. Yes they are poles apart, Paige an Heiress and Cash, an ordinary house builder or a helper. This story is turning to be exciting. B God bless thank you for sharing this story with your readers.
