Doctor Henderson strikes me as an idiot, calling the police when Paige never gave him any reason to think Cash was abusing her. Funny. One of the most educated men in town, yet the most naive.
Great surprise at the end of the post, with a man announcing that Paige is his fiancee.

This new character is someone I don't remember hearing about before. Paige doesn't seem pleased to see him. I am enjoying reading this. It gets better and better.

It seems as though Cash and the doctor have a problem trusting each other. It's just like a doctor to suspect abuse but he didn't apolgize for being wrong. This new character is someone I don't remember hearing about before. Paige doesn't seem pleased to see him. I am enjoying reading this. It gets better and better.

Thank you for the review. Some posts are building posts and all books need them. My chapters are too long to post on FS so I need to break them up into part. If this post had continued, then it would all make sense. I noticed you write short stories, of course, they can fit into one post and need to have punch throughout. Novels can't do that. A totally different. It's like comparing apples to oranges.
