This was exciting to read. Blame and mishap... Not funny to be blamed for a crime you did not commit!
This sentence was odd to me when I first read it:
The pup stood between the man and Paige and continued to growl and snarl.
When read quickly, it sounds like Paige is snapping and snarling! I think it needs to be reworded slightly.

How did he get in?

Uh oh!!! The skeletons has come falling out of Paiges closet. As if she needed more drama (especially after that break in). Anyway, Cash is about to find himself fighting for the love he's looking for. And things is about to get real heated! And I like it!!! Oh, and about that treasure. Can I be down with the hunt!? You are doing a real good job with the build up of this book. And I just can't wait to see what happends next! Keep writing.

Should I even think of Cash being one of the men that broke in to Page' home?
And why do you think that Morgan the dog is taking over this story.
Not me I believe there is a good reason for the dog to me he knows something which is another question WHAT?

this is very well written, barbara, you did an excellent job writing this chapter where cash takes paige to the doctor and he is accused of beating on paige and then they go home to find someone claiming to be paige's fiance at the house.
