Paige is still not feeling very well, still she can't forget about the diary. This is becoming very interesting around the treasure story. Funny Paige's reaction of people conceiving the idea that Cash would have hurt her. Enjoyable to read and the element of mystery is so well perceived.

Oh, so she's getting beaten up because somebody is looking for a treasure in he house. If the doctor accusing me of beating up my wife, I wouldn't be angry with him. I think he is just doing his job. I this case, he was wrong, but in many cases, I bet he is right. It takes guts do that, though. Isn't he afraid the husband will try to hurt him? The story is well told, the situation is clear. And the ending is suspenseful. Great job.
The only thing I would change would be your paragraph formatting. I will pm a sample.

Oh, so she's getting beaten up because somebody is looking for a treasure in he house. If the doctor accusing me of beating up my wife, I wouldn't be angry with him. I think he is just doing his job. I this case, he was wrong, but in many cases, I bet he is right. It takes guts do that, though. Isn't he afraid the husband will try to hurt him? The story is well told, the situation is clear. And the ending is suspenseful. Great job.

You always know exactly where to leave your story and make the reader wanting to come back for more. After everything Paige and Cash have had to deal with, now her past fianc©e has returned. When or if these two get together, it will definitely be well deserved :-)

Wow it sounds like Paige really got a nasty beating and not just bullying.
I understand the Doctor's concern, but Cash has every right to be offended. The Doctor should have asked Paige outright before making assumptions. Maybe his desire for Paige is clouding his judgment?

This has been another interesting chapter in your story and there are just a few small changes needed ...
* You have - the bright red dodge Viper sitting in front of her house. 'Dodge' is the make of the car and therefore needs a capital letter - Viper, being the
model, is rightly capitalised.
* Instead of the car 'sitting' in front of her house, I suggest - parked in front of her house.
* You have - When Marc thought you'd broke my ankle ... this should be - you'd broken my ankle ...
