This is another well written chapter, with a good imagery and development from the previous chapter. They are still investigating. Good communication to add the suspense. I enjoyed reading this one and particularly liked how it ended.

It's difficult to get a good picture of your work with this one little slice, but it was a good slice, nonetheless. I like the language you use in dialogue. It sounds real. Not too much action in this piece, but I don't know what came before or right after so I can't speak to plot development. Still, your overall language use is good and I didn't see too many punctuation or grammar errors, which is also good. I look forward to reading more of your work. Happy writing.
