Well I can see why this got an all time best recognition! Very well done. Some people may be able to resist even the truth, but who can resist a good story? No one!

The bad part about having your own business is you have problems catching up with reading, writing and friends sometimes. A very nice chapter. Thanks for sharing

The writer does a good job of drawing the reader in from the start. I like the photo the writer chose to represent this chapter. The writer does a good job of transitioning the events and raising the curiosity of the reader. You never cease to amaze me. Great job.

Intruders and attackers... hidden jewellery, perhaps dating back to 1850... Somebody must know something, and it must be worth a lot. Still no leads yet.
Do you think the dog would have 'chewed' a finger off the glove? Or do you think the dog would have torn it off or bitten it off. I think chewing takes some time... You decide.
Well written.

I think torn or bit it off too. I will recheck that area. Thank you for your eagle eye.

I'm glad the police aren't suspicious of Cash and Billy Jo any longer. A bubble bath would never dawn on me if I had just been beaten. I guess it's a Paige thing. She does have a mind of her own. LOL
I'm anxious to know what the detective friend finds out about the hand print.

I have a feeling Paige thinks a bubble bath cures all. LOL Thank you for stopping by.
-
Oh if that were only true. LOL
-
Wouldn't it be nice, but with her money, I'm sure she's lived a charmed life.
-
Money. What's that?
-
Something I don't know about. I've people on TV talk about it.
-
Ah, yes, the talking heads from Oz.
-
Now, TV wouldn't lie, would it???? LOL

Barbara - Queen of tension! I've always loved your posts. First, they are always so technically correct. Of that, I'm envious. More, you are a great story teller! LOL, Bill

I see things are really starting to heat up. But I can't
(for the life of me) figure who has been robbing the house.
That's why I like this book. Because it's full of suspense.
Are you going to get this publised? Hope so. Anyway, you
did a great job so far. Keep writing.

I sure hope I can get this published. I haven't completely finished it yet. That's my goal for this summer and to get one of my previous novels published. Thank you for the kind review.

No problem. I don't mind supporting. And when you get the chance, visit my page, and let me know what you think of my poetry. And fan me. For where networking is concerned, communications is the key.

Another super segment, Barbara. Raised some more questions but still no answers to fret over.
'stubborn as a grand pappy mule' (Now that's a concept worth wrappin' your head around! :-)
