Hi Barbara,
Someone needs to take this house apart and figure out what it's hiding - before anyone gets killed. Plus, Paige needs to stop being so pigheaded and call in the law or at least a PI who can find the people behind this.
My money is on the 'Doctor' and his family who burned their fortune. I'd guess they hoped to inherit this house and anything else its hiding.
As usual, good dialogue.

The mystery continues and it really has piqued the reader's interest because there are definitely way more questions than answers.
Cash of course is beginning to feel guilty that he left Paige, but his concern serves to heighten the fact that he obviously cares a whole lot for Paige, perhaps more than he even cares to admit.
