My goodness. I was not expecting this. It cannot be a ghost since he spoke. What the heck is going on? I do hope Cash and Billy Joe are okay. Where is Mary Pat? Lots of questions that don't yet have answers.

I'm saying six stars for this because I like the suspense at the end. Paige is being attacked by an unknown male, and we don't know who it is. If Mary Pat's around, maybe she can come to Paige's rescue. Cash always has a way of turning up when Paige needs him, so maybe that'll happen this time. Paige is still undecided about Cash. Thinks he's too bossy. Maybe this latest incident will cause her to change her mind. judi

this is very well written, barbara, you did an excellent job writing this chapter where mary pat talks to paige and someone breaks into the house to kidnap paige. i hope cash gets back before that happens.

I guess there's at least one more passage in that house for Cash to find, and Paige has just managed to endanger herself and her friend. I hope Billy Joe is somewhere close, or this is going downhil fast.

Well I'm conflicted. I have been forced to watch too many episodes of All My Children in my youth, so this whole back-and-forth about Cash isn't very memorable for me. However I do see that Paige needs some time to herself. But it is obvious that firing Cash is Paige's way of distancing herself from a relationship she's not ready for. As for who the mystery attacker, I get the feeling that Paige stumbled onto something without knowing what it was at the time. Looking forward to the next one.
