This is a great piece of poetry. Written in a very good format. It allows you to say what you want to say in precise syllable count,,,,,,

Great photo and poem An Ameriku is very nice. What did this book ask for? I liked the second stanza best with the bit going up and down but not drowning. Good dedication.

Thanks Ine. I copied this from the prologue . If you what to submit one, the instructions are in the Author's notes of the Prologue.
"This is a multi-author book entitled: "We will survive!" - shared and written by FanStorians to provide a glimmer of hope and encouragement for those who are at the cross-road of suffering in pain or mental anguish either directly or indirectly from terminal illnesses, mental torture, disabilities or conflicts, etc. Life is a journey of thorns not roses at times.
Everyone is welcome to contribute a chapter as a tribute to a family member or friend whom we care or even someone we hardly know. "

The message echoes in my soul. You have done a great job in composing the words, capturing the picture and over all color and form. I hope we can attract many to add pieces to this book.

Another wonderful poem Tom.
So simple the story of the waves coming to shore and brings with it a load of debris from faraway land.
We have to sieve through the debris beneath the wave as it breaks on the shore. We cannot let the waves drown us surely?
Another excellent write and the 'Ameri-ku' format is very creative with a short style format of only two stanzas. There is both inspiration and encouragement in this story. We must never drown but to survive it all!!
Brilliantly penned and bring a message of hope and miracles to all of us.
Cheerio, Ritchie.

Reflecting life's problems,
That enter into play,
There will be ebb and flow.
Just like the ocean
We go up and down,
But we won't drown.
Perfectly executed Tom and a wonderful bit of imagery here too. Awesome it is and good job of it.

A beautiful poem that is sublime as you dedicate it to those that have lost their lives at sea.
Very nice flow and quite disheartening and yet calming to the soul.

Beautiful poem: great thought in the final few lines and it's a great comparison. The line 'throws up froth and foam' in the first stanza really struck me. Very visually appealing. A lovely write and I style I don't think I've seen before.
