It's a lovely photo, Treischel, and your triolet works well with it. I enjoyed the wording of taking a walk by the pond, the image comes immediately to mind. A pleasure to read! xsx Sandra

There is no wandering here. The rhymes faithfully follow this fine form!
Peaceful wandering on pebbled path watching minnows past the willows.
Enjoyable morning scenes...want to be there...

Treischel,
I enjoyed experiencing your peaceful walk past the willows and by the pond. "minnows in the shallows" is very nice rhyming within the line. Excellent triolet poem!

A fine triolet. Flows nicely inducing a zen like trance. The willows lines shimmer like a reflection in the water. The alliteration works well and is not overdone. I like the slight mischief in the shallows/ willows rhyme.

I have a special fondness for triolet poetry, and also for ponds. Love feeding the ducks and watching the fish. The picture is just as beautiful as the poem's words and I enjoyed encountering them both very much.

It's a lovely triolet that flows
smoothly and rhymes well. You picture is beautiful. I would love to have a picnic table there to enjoy on nice days.

A lovely an gracious poem. Your picture adds greatly to the
visual effect. I just love the willows. Your description carries the
reader to the water where the minnows swim. Good use of alliteration. A very enjoyable verse. Robin :)

Reminds me of Savannah or Thoreau's Walden pond but they don't have willows there.
One of your best for technique and talent.
A must read fr writers and readers alike.
A Poetic gift for all.
Well done!

Beautiful Triolet. We just took a walk with the poem, passed the willows and watched the minnows.
The poem reads like a breeze and we were taken to this wonderful walk as if all our lives we have been doing that in our minds.
Always walking and searching up front of what to see and expect. Life is a wonderful walk by the willows that looks like the meadows!
Good write Tom. Well done! Excellent!
Cheerio, Ritchie.

Hi Tom,
Thanks for the welcome. This Triolet is so breezy and light. It make us see the path we are walking in front of us. And somehow we got lost when the lines repeat themselves, I walk round and round and couldn't get out admiring the scenery, smiles.
Sometimes a simple poem can say so much and this one is one of them. Good work, Tom.
Nice to hear form you too!
Cheers, Ritchie.

You should take a look at my bubble poem, Orbs of Joy, and also the free verse, When,( you might recognize that picture as me).
