This has a great story line, grabs ones interest beginning to end. I really enjoy getting acquainted with the characters you have created here. Lovely job of writing. Look forward to reading more.

Interesting find when the guys are looking for blankets. In the wardrobe they find a cameo necklace and a pearl necklace as well as Confederate money. Paige hasn't seem the items before, and she says the box had been there when she previously looked. This is spooky. Paige finally gets her courage up and says she isn't leaving her house. Cash says it's a real person, not a ghost, frying to scare her. Whoever it is, he's going to great lengths. judi

I always look forward to reading your posts. I'm hoping Paige runs into a ghost and gets so scared, she jumps right into Cash's waiting arms. LOL
Everything looked and sounded perfect in this post!
Cheers,

Hi Barb,
no way are you as you say (Sorry, I draw this out so long) to me it's like watching a real good movie and I don't want to see it end.

Should we suppose that Paige was just pulling his leg with the search for the phone number at the Airport. She sure changed her mind in a hurry. But then, Yankees are like that aren't they?

I'm trying to decide if it's a compliment or an insult. I try to write so anybody can pick it up and read it. I hope that's not a problem. Thank you for stopping by and reading. I really missed your comments while you were gone.

It is a compliment - cause it is an easily recognizable term - scooted - spins an image
LOL

Interesting turn with the mysterious box, cameos and Confederate money. But how does that relate to the the ghost, the bigot who is threatening Paige. The plot gets more involved, doesn't it?

Barbara,
This chapter advances the story nicely with the discovery of the locked wooden box with the two necklaces and the stack of Confederate bills. The suspense and mystery continue to escalate. You have written the story well, and the dialogue is excellent. Thanks for sharing.
