Very engaging. I think you're wise to take your time. I think some people try to rush through a novel too quickly. There's a lot of suspense, and there are still many unanswered questions. Maybe the handprint will turn up something. Maybe Paige will learn more about the will after she speaks to her attorney. Interesting that some unknown person is the one who had contested the will. Apparently that person is the one who trashed the parlor. Paige is fortunate to have such good people looking out for her. judi

Lots of emotion comes out through the dialogue in this chapter. I can hear Paige's resentment that the men are hiding things about her own house from her and that they've brought guns into her home. You create an atmosphere of danger and suspense well, but with the news of finding a fingerprint, you also point to the possibility of finally figuring out just who they are dealing with. Brooke
