Hi Barbara - I always enjoy your posts. The only thing that doesn't work for me is that Southern ghosts are not destructive. At least, the two that I've met weren't. Must be a Yankee in the woodwork! Warm regards, Bill

Hello there Barbara. I have been gone far too long and will endeavor to get back into your book. I liked the feel of this. Not much changes in Paige's life it seems. What sinister devil lurks in that house. I am glad Cash is there to lend a hand

What a great ending to this chapter, barbara. I have to agree with the men, what the heck is going on... trashing the room doesn't seem much like a ghost, but anything is possible! Well done.
Warmest regards, Bev

Great post, adding yet more to the intrigue, Barbara. I like the hint of concern from Cash when Paige said she wanted to go back to Boston.
Yes indeed. What are 'they' looking for?
I didn't spot an spag, Barbara.

And tell them what? We have a ghost-infested house with secret staircases and tunnels. Oh yeah, don't forget the KKK left a mysterious note on the front door - this line describes the chapter perfectly. Lot's of questions and no answers. Very well done. Looking forward to reading more.

I love this chapter full of drama and suspense! I don't blame Paige for her desire to go back to Boston. She deserves an answer about all the mysteries things around this house.
WONDERFUL JOB Barbara!

I like the characterization. I like the dialogue. There's good conflict in this posting. I think you have a great voice.

Oh how creepy. Nothing like that has happened in my haunted house. That would be very frightening. Good job of building suspense. Enjoy the rest of your spring break if it isn't already over~Debbie

Something is hidden in that house, and I suspect Paige's boss as the intruder. Of course that could change with more information. :D Great pacing, Barbara. :) nancy
