I think I read the last chapter holding my breath. Now I have done the same with this one.
It seems you create suspense in your stories with consummate ease Barbara, leaving your reader wanting more.
I like the way you put us right there, with great dialog which keeps the story flowing.
Cannot wait to find out what or who is in the house.

Sounds to me like someone actually needs to do some accurate measuring up in this house. The outside dimensions don't match the inside by a big margin I suspect, nor do some of the internal ones by the sound of it.
You're holding the suspense nicely here, though I have my suspicions as to who is going, eventually, to be exposed as the nasty lurker.
Well done no spag spotted this time either.

Oh dear girl, it's my bedtime and now someone's loose in Paige's house. (Haha) This is very well written. i grew up in South Carolina. Mama and Papa always hoped I'd be a Southern Belle but it didn't work out that way. God loves you an I do too.
