Hello, Barbara! I was just reading your story. I will need to go back and back read to get the gist of whats going on. But so far as I've read. It sounds great. Seems to be a solid plot and the characters in this scene sound like real folks and are believable. I have to admire the way you have the dialog. If it isn't poetry or kid's stories, I have trouble with. I guess I haven't graduated dialog school yet, lol!. You have done a great job and I enjoyed reading it!

I'm guessing from the chill in the room, Paige's ghost is back. I still remember your first chapter when Alice was in labor, so hopefully her diary will tell more about that day. I look forward to finding out :-)

I like the way you explain everything logically, almost debunking the paranormal aspect, then BANG - you do something else and bring the ghostly element right back front and centre.
You're layering this very well, Barbara, leaving little hints of this and clues to that. Look forward to the next!

The ghost element in this story, brings a big deal of interest in the reader. In the other hand, the natural, authentic pace and occurrences, make fell like I'm right there, as a witness.
