Haha! This is so cute - I love it. Your triolet is well written with strong meter and the correct rhyme scheme, and I like the way you have included a humorous line, "lawn mower's 'bout to make a pass.." This is original and appealing, and should do well in the contest. Good luck and thank you for entering.

A cute little original write for the prompt. The form is correct with repeating lines and rhyming and I am sure the topic is a pleasant one for most readers, but the meter is off in the write. Hopefully it can be tidied up before the vote and good luck in the polls : )
