had to go back a few chapters and scan to get a gist of what's going on. This is turning into an interesting read. You have done a great job intermingling dialgue and description. well done!

Interest questions were asked in this chapter. And Cash's attitude sort of atypical when one does not believe something. I enjoyed.

I like how each post teases with only a little bit of information. It keeps the reader in suspense. I couldn't help laughing with the line: "I want to know who's Ceres and what in hell's bells is a allegory?"
The subtle humour thrown in makes in an even more engaging story.

Hi barbara,
This chapter brings several questions to my mind.
What is Paige to discover in reading the rest of the history?
What will it take to make Cash a believer?
And you've ended this chapter perfectly. Why is Nala acting the way she is? I can't wait to discover the answers. I will look forward to your next chapter.
Your chapter is interesting and clearly written. Thank you for sharing.

I like the way you use the dialogue to give
information - something I try to do myself.
I hope Paige's friends won't desert her. Nala seems
angry about something. I wonder if something will
happen to change Cash's mind about believing in ghosts.
A great chapter, Barbara.

One thing I really enjoy in this story is the dialogues. They give us, the readers a lot of information about the story. Right now, there seem to be more questions than answers to all the things that are happening in this wonderful chapter.
GREAT JOB Barbara!

Barbara,
I am going to follow this book. Of course, the five dollar bill is real (I've seen a lot of counterfeit Confederate money in my time), and Nala's attitude seems out of date.
I thoroughly enjoyed this read.

Thank you for the kind review. We will find out later what problem Nala has, but prejudism alive and well with some people. Thank you for staying with me.

Poor Paige, it seems like there is an undercurrent of distrust beginning to form. I hope that her friends don't desert her. Well done.

Hi Barbara,
Paige believes in ghosts even though Cash doesn't. She feels she knows the ghost's name and why he showed up to help her. Too bad she can't convince Cash. I wonder why Nala wouldn't eat with Paige, there must be something going on Paige knows nothing about. I am intrigued and can't wait for the next chapter. Well done. Blessings, chey

Got a chuckle here:..."I have no idea how it got in your yard, but I'm sure a Confederate ghost didn't drop it." "Cash, has a point. Why would a ghost need money?" Billy Joe cocked his head.
Nice switch at the end. Unfortunately, blacks and whites in the South still have issues.
Well done!
