Oh Barbara, I love this chapter! Your descriptions are so exciting, and the intrigue - who (or what) carried Paige out of the storm and into her bedroom? It's all so highly believable - just rivets attention from start to finish!

My pleasure, my friend - can't wait to find out what happened! (Who carried her Ghost? nah...probably not...) :)

Aha, Barbara:

It would seem Paige's ghost has come out not to haunt
her this night but to help her. Now that's my kind of
spirit. I wonder if he does windows, too? I suspect
Cash is going to be jealous that someone else undressed
Paige and put her in her bed, too. Sprained ankles don't
normally cause people to pass out but broken ones often
do. I think Cash is going to be made a believer before
all is said and done.

I hope you had a good Christmas vacation and that your
return to teaching is a good one.

thanks for sharing
love,
jan

Very well written tale with a mystery, who is the person who took care of her? Hmm.
Just one editing suggestion.

Oh crap who took Paige home? It had to be someone who knew where she lived. Oh mercy was it the creepy guy from her job? I need the next chapter pronto.

I was happy to bump into Paige and Cash again - a good way to start the New Year!

Oak tree (should it be a lower case o?)

Nice cliff hanger ending ....

Happy New Year, Barbara and here's to writing dreams come true!

Oh, I loved this! With her out walking the dog, the storm was perfectly timed. I loved the inner thoughts of Paige, and I just knew the ghost was going to rescue her. Great chapter!

I'm very curious. If Cash didn't help Paige, then who did? I can't wait to find out. This was another enjoyable post. Your characters are so likeable :-)

What an entertaining and at the same time an educational ride on an emotional roller-coaster, within encounters and emotions we all face in one degree or another in our everyday relationships. The eloquence of your writing has in its own nature a mystifying , yet captivating magnetism that embraces the reader.

Quality writing which certainly complements the author

Oh, this was great. I loved the ghost angel coming to the rescue. Great set-up with sweet dialogue between Paige and her new pet. Well done, barbara. Warm regards, Bev
