A delightful read! I haven't been following this story, but the gist was very easy to pick up.
Nice, smooth, unforced dialogue. Very southern atmosphere, well captured - down to the church service and the fried chicken!
One typo:
too kindly to (not ro kindly too)
Look forward to reading more.

Hi Barbara,
This is a delightful chapter and one I enjoyed reading. I liked the friendly conversations through out and am glad had Paige meet his mother. She seems so down to earth and I think she and Paige will become good friends. Also I liked meeting Reverend Coleman and Pagie's dismay at learning he was an alcoholic and boxer. Strange background for a Pastor! Well done....blessings, chey

A nice easy going chapter with a tad of conflict to keep it moving. Great job as always and I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Hi Barbara,
Interesting account of the church and its people, being from a more catholic tradition it wouldn't be my choice! That said, nice building out of the characters. Good chapter.

"There's some in the congregation that don't take TO kindly TOO his former profession." Reverse them. 'that don't take TOO kindly TO his former profession."
Almost two hours of preaching! Wow! Paige must have the patience of Job! LOL!
Nice, traditional characters, reminds me of life in the 60's. Fun to go back there. Good stuff, barb.

I really enjoyed this chapter. I love the way you convey the hospitality of Southerners with the fun and delightful banter between characters. This is very well written and most enjoyable.

I'm sorry I haven't read the other chapters, I enjoyed this one. Now I'm curious how Paige and Faye will get along, so far they seem to like each other, also Paige and Cash. (Strange name)
I will try to keep on reading your story, I enjoyed this chapter.

This is almost time for lunch here in Venezuela, and you can't imagine how hungry this picture had make me. This is a very well written chapter. Cash and Paige attend church and then go home to have dinner with his mom. A very typical situation that I just love.
GREAT JOB Barbara!!
