Have you thought about putting in some thoughts about Paige's interest or lack thereof for Chase, as well as Chase for Paige?

Good chapter, the Southern church is well depicted, as well as the fried chicken Sunday dinner. Down here it's "taters", not sure which is correct. :)

I enjoyed reading this chapter as Cash and Paige's relationship develops. I liked the section where Paige is helping in the kitchen and trying to understand the different tools and food. I look forward to reading more.

Your creation of the casual atmosphere at church was very good, drawing us into your story. Great twist with Pastor Ben being a reformed alcoholic and a boxer, an unusual combination for a pastor but still ringing true.
Your dialogue is spot on. The intentional southern slang adds authenticity to your narrative. The deep religious belief is a neat counterpoint to the obvious physical attraction between Paige and Cash.
I like the short chapters, they make it easy to keep everything together.
