I enjoyed reading your story. Paige and Cash are both likeable characters. I like the dialogue between them, you can feel their relationship growing. Look forward to reading more chapters.

Taking her to church... that's mighty honorable and a good start to a relationship. I enjoyed the chapter as always and will be waiting on the next one.

good intermixing of natural-sounding dialogue and non-verbal communication like chuckling and tilting her head and grinning - together they depict well the flirtatious behavior going on
I love the closing repartee the most - great comment about Southern men during the war. LOL Brooke :-)

For a minute I thought she might be going fishing wearing stiletto sandals!! I can just see the congregation all having a good look when she walks in.

(")Are you ready?"

It's on the outside of town -- on the outside?
just on the outskirts of town (maybe) - just a thought

pea-pickin(') heart

and run (in) the other direction

Most enjoyable, Barbara - flowed beautifully and naturally

The North-South thing sets up a little tension, and a great deal of humor. You have chosen well. Let's see how the romance develops ...

Maybe "war" should be higher case. It's usually the only "war" Southerners talk about. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words. Very good job.

I knew it was the only war in the Southern history books. LOL I thought about capitalizing it, but I figured I would take hits from my Nortern friends. Thank you for the kind review.
