Hello Barb,
even if your chapter is short you certainty know how to show what I believe is going to be a very sensual romance with the oily back rubs

Good chapter, Barbara.
Sorry,(no comma) I woke you up.
It uses the same key(,) only upside down."

I am lousy at commas. I thought I had them this time. I will make the correction. Thank you for being the comma police. LOL

Hullo Barbara ...
This is yet another relatively short chapter in your book and there are just three small changes indicated ...
* You have - I'd do it for free. I know - everybody says such words but 'for free' is totally unagrammatical. It should be - I'd do it for nothing ... OR ... I'd do it
free-of-charge.
* You have - How much you paying that guy anyway? This should be - How much are you paying ...
* You have - petite fours .... This is not correct.
Being French, you might need to look it up in a French
Dictionary.
Thank you for sharing this chapter with us and now I look forward to what happens next.
Love from .... Nanette Mary.

This was a wonderful interlude which for me showed Paige and Cash's growing relationship. Their comfortable banter back and forth tells me she's loosening up a bit, and his worry and protectiveness shows his true caring. Great job!
Why do you have my doorknob in your hand?" ===lol...truly a funny sight to wake up to...
I'd love to paint your nails fire engine red."
==haha
"I need to get busy in the kitchen." ===just a little unclear about who was doing the talking? Paige had just said she needed to get dresses,so did Cash have to get busy in the kitchen?
Paige whispered, "That Southern boy's very protective, isn't he? I don't think he likes Maurice. I wonder why?" She finished setting out plates and silverware. ===If she's talking to herself you may not need the Paige whispered part. I kept rereading seeing if she was whispering to someone..then it dawned on me...duh..she's talking to herself?

I had whisper because she wanted to make sure Cash didn't hear as he left. I will recheck those areas. Thank you.

You're very welcome. Do we really have to wait for next Sunday for the next one? It's a rainy, Seattle day and I'm in the mood to sit in front of the fire and read the rest of this book.:)

I have the next post written, but I am still editing it. It's not ready, sorry.

arghhhh..now I'm going to have to keep reviewing....:(

Your chapters always provide 6-star entertainment. Although this one is short, you manage to get in a lot. We have the locks being changed, which will surely come into play later on. The ladies' day of entertainment sounds kind of high-end, and shows that Paige is able to spend money freely--but is hoping to indulge her new friends in massage, manicures and pedicures, etc. Maurice turns out to be interesting, too. Cash is doing a lot of screening, very protective of Paige. Wonder if Maurice will pass muster? Will something happen to spoil the ladies' day of fun? judi

Hi Barbara,
The picture you chose is so cute and perfect for the theme of this chapter. What Paige has in store for her lady friends sounds delicious. I need to have a party like that. However, I feel a bit creepy about Maurice and wonder if he is not the person Paige thinks he is. Apparently Cash feels the same. I am gad he changed the locks but I don't think that will keep the ghost out. Well done....blessings, chey

Thank you for the kind review. I doubt a change of locks will help with the ghost either.

I wonder what it's like to get a massage. The way my back feels right now, I could use one. Is this gathering she's having a surprise. I don't remember her mentioning it in the other chapters. Have I forgotten?
Also, did Cash mention he was going to change the locks that morning or was it a surprise, too?
For moment I thought the picture of the kittens was yours.
I was expecting that he would find an underground passage 'from and to' her house.

Yes, I mentioned the gathering earlier, they were going on a shoping spree, but Cash mentioned to Paige that the other ladies couldn't afford one, so she changed it. Cash didn't mention he was going to change the locks. He thought about the keys and did it on his own. Thank you for the kind review.

You're welcome, Barbara. I remember him saying that the ladies couldn't afford a shopping spree. Bet they enjoy her new plan.

Barbara,
The story continues to progress at a good tempo. The storyline continues to be convincing, and the characters are persuasive as well. I like Cash's protective nature. I think Paige does also. It is a good read.
Well done,
Curtis

Paige seems to trust Cash more since she allowed him to keep a copy of his keys. Maurice seems to be an interesting person. It might be interesting to have a backrub by a strange man. I wonder if Cash is jealous.
