Good job with this chapter, Barbara. I do enjoy your story line. It is sure different than your last book that I read. This is a story to get lost in on a cool winter's night.
Blessings, Linda

Great work in this, Barbara. I always look forward to reading your chapters. They make me think of some of Nora Roberts' novels. Excellent characterizations. We see Paige being frightened, thinking she has seen something. When Cash tries to reassure her, she puts on a brave front. Keeping a journal to document her experiences is a great idea--if the ghost doesn't hide it. Cash tries to reassure her, but he also senses that something's wrong but it isn't a ghost. He's trying to keep Paige from worrying too much. Very absorbing. judi

Hi Barbara,
This story gets more intriguing with each chapter. I too believe there is something wrong in the house and even Cash saw what Paige saw but didn't want to scare her so kept it to himself. I wonder what or who he will find when he checks the house again? This is a real page turner and I can't wait to see what happens next.....blessings, chey

The creepiness is continuing nicely. I really like Cash's protective nature with Paige. The changes you made to the end of the previous post work so much better. It feels more natural now. Once again, I look forward to reading more.

Very well written chapter, Cash thinking there is more to this situation than ghosts. The reader wonders, is it lost pirate gold, Confederate gold, drug smuggling? Great reading, so many questions.
