An excellent chapter, barbara. Paige is revealed to be quite psychic, probably the reason she has been having her own experiences. It's sad that so many ghosts of soldiers are still roaming the places they died so terribly. I think you showed that very well in this chapter. Warmest regards, Bev

I've enjoyed the ghost tour, but I'm a tad disappointed that Evan didn't take them to the house Paige is rennovating. That would've been really interesting and would've refreshed the reader's mind about the ghost who helped his wife deliver. I would imagine that Charleston, South Carolina also has its share of ghosts, but Dalton is too recent.
I enjoyed this read and have two suggestions:
The older gentleman said, "Johnny Mercer was a famous song writer. You need an end quote.
"This hotel once served as a boarding house and a hospital at three different times." I found this sentence a bit confusing. Should it be, "This hotel served once as a boarding house and at three different times as a hospital."

I've enjoyed the ghost tour, but I'm a tad disappointed that Evan didn't take them to the house Paige is rennovating. Sorry for the lateness of my reply. I wanted to have time to make the corrections before I replied.
Many of the houses can't be entered on a tour like this one. Some houses give their own tours, one is an acitive hotel, still used today.

Oh, I'm loving this ghost tour of yours so much. Today I watched a show on the Moon River Brewery in Savannah, which is supposedly very haunted by some aggressive ghosts and poltergeists. I thought of you and your story right away! I also like the developing closeness between Cash and Paige. You're building up the tension at a nice steady pace, Barbara. An enjoyable read.

Picture works well with this installment. Really gives off an eerie atmosphere. The history you weave into this story is as engrossing as the characters. I actually went to my netflix que and added midnight in the garden of good and evil. I found nothing to adjust. This is simply a spooky little love story. Well done, I can't wait for more.

I remember saying in the last review I thought there was a little too much information, but in this chapter I think you have a great balance of personal conversation woven into the information. I enjoyed it tremendously, but I'm love the romance of old ghost stories, especially in Savannah. So, great job. I saw that another reviewer said it was too short. I agree. I wanted to read more!

Another great write. I am glad that you included the notes however. I was beginning to wonder why this was being listed as romance, and the last three posts were dealing with ghosts.
