I enjoyed this chapter very much. Your dialogue is excellent and flows superbly. I am also enjoying the history lesson. Mazatlan was known for pirates too. They would moor out in the bay and come into town to pillage. This is why there are bars over the doors and windows to this day. It is also why the doorways are so small. It gave the occupant time to grab a sward or frying pay to defend his property. I anxiously look forward to reading the next chapter.

Once again, I did not find anything that needs to be fixed or changed.

I love where this is all going. I love how protective Cash is behaving toward Paige. The history of the city woven into this story is wonderful. I've learned much. I envy your abilities. Wonderfully written and informative!
