This is a great post Barbara. Kept my attention all the way through. Great imagery, and character dialogue.
I liked the pace, well done throughout.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi, Barbara, there are many hints here for whatever there is to come... I I become more curious of Paige, Cash, Karen, and Savannah itself! Interesting chapter.

Another wonderful addition to the story. I wonder too what is going on between Cash and the waitress. Loved it, only one small thing.
the couple walked toward the river.
As they walked, Cash pointed out the differ(walked and walked used too close together. I suggest changing the second to meandered or something to that effect)

Another great chapter. It has good dialogue and keeps the readers interest. Reader wonders is house haunted? If so by who and why. Why did Cash leave the waitress a big tip. Enjoyed.

I couldn't help but chuckle. My mother loved 'northern' tea while I like mine very sweet. Fascinating chapter with lots of historical information. I find Cash a fun guy. Paige seems to like him too.
I didn't find anything that needs changing. Still a very good chapter. I'm off to read the next chapter.

Cash said in his deepest southern drawl - Southern
What happened to that southern accent - Southern
I like the flirtatious dialogue
and the non-verbal communication like when she tilts her head and smiles
I must be Southern at heart - I love sweet tea LOL
Brooke :-)

Very enjoyable. I enjoyed the banter between Paige and Cash. There's some attraction going on there. The bit with the dialect was cute. And the sweet tea! A true hallmark of a southern-set novel. They do like their sweet tea. (I don't) The talk about tunnels was interesting, and surely leads up to action regarding tunnels to come. Paige shows her interest in Cash by wondering how friendly he was with the waitress. Great work. judi

Hi Barb,
looks like you have Paige and Cash in a good relationship Now I wonder how far this will go(do I see Romance in the picture)
Pirates what an interesting touch in your story.
You must be leading to something good.
Like meeting ghost from the past?

I agree with Paige about sweet tea! Ugh! Give me just plain sun tea anytime. Well, it looks like things are getting real cozy between the new Southern Belle and the smooth talkin' good ole boy! I look forward to see how it and they progress. When are we going see some ghosts??:)
