As always this is the beginning of a well planned book. You have talent of story telling which is clear in this presentation. Good job and God Bless! Linda

The story is progressing well. Paige is showing some interest in Cash and a bit of jealous interest in why Cash left Karen a big tip. Of course Cash is interested in Paige. He flirted with her earlier. She played it cool but she knows he's interested.

Yes, it seems the further south one goes, the sweeter the
tea gets. My mom was from Rockford, IL and said the first
time she had tea in VA it almost set her teeth back in her
head -- LOL! Of course, she had to learn to make it that
way to please my dad who was a good ole VA boy.
Can't wait to see all the ways the haunting occurs in
this house.
thanks for sharing
love,
jan

Thank you for the kind review. I am from Morrison, IL and it's not that far from Rockford. Only my hometown only has 4,000 people in it.

I cannot wait to learn more about the old house and the history behind it you have piqued my interest and added some conflict with tension in the north vs south theme. I think your characters are just starting to develop in the story and look forward to learning more about them.
Be Blessed
Jenny
By the way being a sort of Southern Belle myself I found the dialogue endearing.

I feel like this is a build up chapter. It already has Paige wondering how well Cash knows Karen. Not something she would idly thing about. So Cash is starting to get under her skin. Good. We already know Cash likes her. The way you mix a bit of history into this chapter is kewl. It felt like a natural conversation. I can't wait to see where you go with this.

You write some intriguing characters, I am already wondering about their back-stories. It is wonderful to be able to put some of your own memories into fiction, it gives something more than simply researching does. I enjoyed it.

It's good to know The Pirate House is still there, Barbara. A nice mixture of fact ( the cobbles were ship ballast) and romantic fiction. Can't wait to meet the ghost. :) nancy

I am thrown into the American civil war and the effects and cliches of what we Brits expect to hear - and you do it very well. One of my favourite books is Gone with the Wind - and I still think of Tara and the passions of all who fought on both sides! Lovely.

I am confused. You gave me a five star review, but only four stars. What do I need to improve to bring it up to five stars?

Hi Barbara, I think i would like to see it edited, so that the story content was the same, but the word count was less.
-
so you are saying it's too long?
