Hey Barb,
How well indeed. Nice back and forth between these two. Great imagery with the waitress taking their order, delivering their drinks, and Paige twirling her fry in the ketchup.
Will be interesting if there will be a 'cat fight' between the two gals over Cash before it's all over.
Cheers & Keep Smilin'... Jax

Hi Barbara,
Enjoyed the read. Everything seemed fine but, I do have a question...
When they crossed River Street, Paige bent down and touched the smooth-shaped stones. "This is cobblestone."
"I think it's original." He smiled, then pointed toward a small building.
If Cash is a builder wouldn't he know for certain whether the stones were real or not. Just a thought for you to think about.
A good write, smooth and thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you for sharing.

The thing I found interesting about this installment you might find amusing: the difference between north and south tea. I've never heard of that, but for sure, I hate the taste of sugar in tea!
I guess I've never had a true 'Southern' tea.
I couldn't see an SPAG issues here.

Cash knows how to charm women, but Paige won't succumb to them. She wants to know more about her home. Cash and Paige seem to get together well. He even bought her lunch.

Sounds like Cash has designs on the little Yankee girl. LOL! A southern accent that comes and goes. Mmn! Maybe she shouldn't trust him too far.
Well written dialogue with a good mix of narration.
Well done, spag free. Good chapter, Barb.

Hello again Barbara
This chapter is my favorite so far. I am thinking that Paige, Cash, Karen, are developing well, and the story line as well. I love Savannah and am looking forward to your next chapter

Great chapter. Your characters continue to develop into very likable and enjoyable people, the hint of a budding romance is in the air, there is talk of pirates and haunted houses, and the scenes are well described. It's a very easy read, and would be fun to continue.

This story has the suspense building from the early beginning. I really like the setting taking place in Savannah, Georgia with the mystery of Blackbeard's ghost
lingering in the background.
