I love the ironic dialogue in a point of the conversation, about the work to be done in the old house. This is a very interesting chapter... It's getting better and better.
EXCELLENT JOB Barbara!

Good chapter, Barbara, and nothing that needs fixing, as far as I can see. A beautiful picture of Savannah, GA. I've never been there, but it looks very interesting.

Great dialogue and detailed descriptions. I like Casey's upbeat personality and Paige's sincerity. The history of the house leaves me wanting to know more.

A friend of mine was leaving Minneapolis to live in Augusta. His name was Bill Sherman. I suggested he change his name or just use his first initial. Luckily, his middle initial wasn't 't'. The chapter moves the story ahead and is quite interesting. Ray.

Paige smiled. "Guilty as charged." She walked over and picked up the book she had looked at. "It seems when Major General William Tecumseh Sherman."
This is the only sentence that reads off to me. Otherwise we have another great chapter. I like the way you eased into the history of the house. Though I will admit that the "Miz" thing gets to me. Nothing personal just a black thing.
Ready for the next chapter.

I feel I know the characters now, and am
enjoying how you are gradually revealing
the plot to your readers.
I must say I'm enjoying this story more
than I did the last, Barbara, only because
what Anna went through brought back
painful, stressful memories.
"Yes, ma'ma. Billy Joe - ?? Yes, ma'am

Hi Barbara,
Good chapter, certainly getting to know the people now. I can sympathise with Cash over Sherman, his "march to the sea" would be considered genocide these days I think. It must certainly rate as one of the most destructive and viscious campaigns against a civilian population of all time.
