Hershy reminds me of a cat our family had when I was growing up. I taught the cat - his name was Tiger - to jump up in my arms if I stood in front of him. A number of times a visitor to the house was surprised if he hesitated after entering the front door. Tiger always greeted everyone at the door, and if they stopped for a few seconds, Tiger would leap up, and if no arms reached out for him, he would attach himself to the unwary visitor with his claws.

I found the likes of Hershey comical, intriguing and adventurous to say the least. I'm sure, loving May enter at some point.

Thank you, John! Yes, it is on Amazon and in the Kindle store. In my author's notes at the bottom of this posting, I listed my author's page link too (but Fanstory won't highlight it), and I posted two reviews of marvelous authors from other countries. :)

What age group is it geared to? I have grandchildren aged ? 12-10-7-5-4

It's really a book for the whole family, although the youngest ones might need someone to read it to them. Perfect for the 12 and 10-year-olds I think... Thank you for asking. :) I am heading to bed now. I've been up all night, but I'll try to check in this evening!

No, no! The book is currently under vast revision - I simply needed a last-minute double check of the plot. The 'new' Hershy is much better! LOL.

This deserves ******stars.
The focus where is Hershey?
The story line development: While fixing dinner for her husbands boss, Hershey gets into the spaghetti sauce. His favorite things are adventure followed by spaghetti sauce. His shoulders are orange from the sauce and he adorably rubs himself around her ankles. The boss doesn't seem upset by this. Lizzie the mistress's older brother found it hard to believe. The next day he forgave Hershey when he helped fight off the bullies picking on Lizzie. Hershey followed the bullies to make sure they left Lizzie alone. He sees Blackjack and tells him about his adventure. Blackjack decides to take a nap so Hershey decides to take one himself. When he wakes he is in the city. Bob had finished his work early to celebrate his daughters birthday. The Barnes family has looked high and low for him. Being a friendly cat Bob brings him in intending to return Hershey to the last address. He tells his wife he is going to invite Mrs Graham and her two cats. Hershey goes with him and sees two more Siamese cats. Hershey likes them right away and tells them all about his adventure. When Bob gets back with a Siamese kitten the other three are nearly forgotten. In the morning Bob returns Hershey and follows him to make sure he gets home. He observes Lizzie gather him up and bring him in the house. Mr Barnes invites his boss. Who arrives with a Siamese female kitten. Hershey was smitten immediately.
The narration lays the whole story out and shows the action. It is easily followed by young and old.
The story shows good morales. It shows a naughty Hershey, a protective cat for his mistress. Loves to go on adventures which he did this day.
This story will be loved by young and old and all animal lovers.

love the ending and the story of the mischievous kitty and so glad he made it back home safely to his mistress and seems there is another kitty story coming in behind this maybe a Mrs. Hershey as a detective and her sidekick Hershey as her snoop?

Beautiful photo of a Siamese cat that complements your story very well. I would love to see it continued. We owned two Siamese some years ago, and had them till old age.

I like it Dawn, the Hershy cat is "accidentally" catnapped, meets up with a Mrs.Graham, pals up with other cars, adventures ensue, and eventually finds his way home, and discovers he has a girl car awaiting him. A very well-written synopsis of a wonderful Siamese adventurous cat aimed for the little readers between 6 - 11 years, which will enjoy this kind of story tremendously. It would be interesting to know where our normal cat disappears to sometimes.
